Grand Forks man arrested for attempted sexual assault after breaking into neighbor’s apartment

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) — A Grand Forks man is arrested for attempted sexual assault and other charges after forcing his way into a neighbor’s apartment.

The woman was able to break free and ran to a friend’s apartment where she called 911.

Police responded around 11:30 last night to 4001 Gateway Drive and found Andrew Ebertowski still inside the woman’s apartment.

The victim told police that he grabbed her and told her he wanted to sleep with her while pushing her up against a kitchen counter.

Ebertowski was arrested for burglary, terrorizing, felonious restraints and attempted sexual assault.
