Woman arrested after pursuit near Fergus Falls

FERGUS FALLS, Minn. (KVRR-KFGO) – A woman is in the Otter Tail County Jail in Fergus Falls after a police pursuit shortly after midnight Tuesday.

It began after dispatchers received a report of a possible drunken driver at a Fergus Falls residence.

The car was later found in Elizabeth, northwest of Fergus Falls. A deputy was talking with Sheri Abrahamson, 54, when she drove off.

Abrahamson, with no permanent address, was pursued for a short distance before a pursuit-ending technique was used to stop her. Abrahamson was was arrested for fleeing, DWI and obstructing the legal process.

The State Patrol and Fergus Falls police assisted deputies.
