Criminal complaint shows Fargo man tried to stab officer at Dollar General before he was shot

WALKER Minn, (KVRR/KFGO) — A Fargo man with a knife inside Dollar General in Walker, Minnesota on Friday made repeated threats before rushing the officer who fired at him.

A criminal complaint says 21-year-old Dillon Kloehn entered the store around 6:45 p.m. wearing only his boxers and “acting intoxicated.”

He threw things and threatened to stab Walker police officer Kent Cleveland multiple times.

As Cleveland backed out of the store, Kloehn said, “I will kill you right now,” before charging him.

Cleveland shot him once causing a non life-threatening injury.

Kloehn is charged with assault, attempted aggravated robbery and fleeing a peace officer.

The officer was placed on standard administrative leave while the BCA investigates.
