Suspect in Assault Case Now Charged with Manslaughter

The victim in the attack died at the hospital after several days in critical condition.

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – Tabias Walker, the man accused of assaulting a man in downtown Fargo on August 3, is now also being charged with manslaughter and aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon. Walker was already facing an aggravated assault charge.

Court documents say that Walker allegedly assaulted 55-year-old John Pilcher. Pilcher was taken to the hospital, where he was listed in critical condition. Pilcher died 10 days later.

Walker is being arraigned on these new charges on the afternoon of August 15.
