Fargo City Hall will glow purple for International Overdose Awareness Day

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — If you drive by Fargo City Hall this evening, you’ll notice it lit up in purple lights.
The City of Fargo is recognizing International Overdose Awareness Day, a global campaign dedicated to raising awareness of overdose and reducing the stigma of drug-related deaths and substance use disorders.
The annual day remembers the lives lost to overdose, honors the grief of families and friends and promotes prevention.
The city says the illumination stands as a symbol of remembrance, hope and action.
It affirms Fargo’s support for those impacted by overdose and commitment to advancing awareness and prevention.
