Man arrested over the weekend for firing shots into a camper at Sheyenne Oakes Campground

WAHPETON, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO)– A man is in jail after a shooting at a campground in Richland County over the weekend.

Deputies arrested 56-year-old Kenneth Busse for reckless endangerment.

He is accused of firing a shotgun out of his camper window.

Deputies were called to Sheyenne Oakes Campground about 10 miles south of Leonard Saturday night.

The caller told dispatch her camper was hit.

No one was hurt and the sheriff’s office calls it an isolated incident.

Busse is in Richland County Jail in Wahpeton.
