Nationwide “No Kings” Protests Planned for October 18
The Fargo version of the event will again take place in front of City Hall.

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – The nationwide “No Kings” protests are scheduled for October 18, and the plans are provoking strong reactions from both sides of the political aisle.
The first iteration of “No Kings” took place back on June 14, and drew large crowds to Fargo City Hall, as well as several other locations in North Dakota.
North Dakota No Kings rally organizers say they expect an even bigger turnout this Saturday because people are feeling ignored by federal lawmakers.
Republican leadership, including Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, have referred to the protests as a “Hate America Rally”.
Meanwhile, Democratic lawmakers are calling it a lawful exercise of First Amendment Rights.
“I support the right of every single American to participate in the rallies that are going to take place this week and showing up to express dissent against an out-of-control administration,” said House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries. “That’s as American as motherhood, baseball and apple pie.”
The No Kings rally in Fargo is again scheduled for City Hall, beginning at 1 P.M.
There are also protests planned for Grand Forks, Bismarck, and Minot, to name a few places in the state.
