Multiple fire departments respond to grain dryer fire in Otter Tail County

DALTON, Minn. (KVRR-KFGO) – Otter Tail County deputies along with firefighters from Dalton, Elbow Lake, Wendell, and Fergus Falls responded to a grain dryer fire southwest of Dalton Friday morning.

The Sheriff’s Office says the dryer was fully engulfed in flames when first responders arrived around 4:30 a.m. No other structures or grain storage were damaged and no one was injured in the fire.

The cause is not known, but the Sheriff’s Office does not suspect a crime.
