Cass County Sheriff’s Office reveals name of victim of deadly shooting in Horace

FARGO (KVRR) — The Cass County Sheriff’s Office held a press conference on Thursday, sharing more details on a shooting that took place in Horace on Wednesday that left one woman dead.
Sheriff Jesse Jahner identified the victim has been identified as 23-year-old Sakeena Khaadi.
Jahner spoke to reporters and the public at the Cass County Courthouse Thursday afternoon.
According to Jahner, they were called to an apartment complex at 7994 Jacks Way in Horace at around 7:53 Wednesday morning for an unknown disturbance.
When they arrived on scene, deputies found a woman laying in the hallway with a suspected gunshot wound.
Two other women were also in the hallway providing lifesaving measures.
The woman was declared dead on scene and deputies conducted a safety sweep of the area. During the sweep, they found a two-year-old child at the residence the woman lived in. The child was uninjured.
The sheriff’s office notified Horace school of the shooting at around 8:07 a.m.
Derrick Lobbo, 21, was arrested on outstanding warrants. He is the father of the two-year-old child.
Lobbo and his child lived at the apartment complex with the victim.
