Rocky’s Burgers, Franks, and Fries opens in south Fargo

FARGO — A new, locally-owned restaurant has opened and is serving burgers and franks to the metro.
Rocky’s Burgers, Franks, and Fries opened their doors to the public on Monday.
Rocky’s Burgers, Franks, and Fries opened its doors in the former Taco John’s in the 2600 block of 32nd Avenue South in Fargo.
They specialize in, you guessed it, burgers, franks, and fries.
The fries are fresh cut at the restaurant and the franks are from the Bronx in New York.
This is the second Rocky’s location for the company after the first opened in Minot last year.
“We can’t wait to see everybody come in and start to be familiar faces, you know,” said co-owner Billy Sartwell. “This winter we’re doing Round Up With Rocky’s for winter gear for kids. So it’s something that the community already today they’ve really gotten behind. So I’m excited to see what happens with that.”
Rocky’s had a soft opening for friends and family on Saturday.
The restaurant’s name was the childhood nickname of founder Mike Sartwell.
