It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas In Downtown Fargo
Fargo, N.D. (KVRR) — Holiday cheer was on full display with Santa and Mrs. Claus helping light the tree in Broadway Square.
There were fire pits for people to stay warm and roast marshmallows as well take trolly rides around the city.
This event was pushed back a week thanks to the snowstorm last Tuesday but the parks department was happy the weather did end up cooperating.
“I think last week would’ve been pretty hard to hold the event with all the snow that we had in the road. We’re blessed tonight! It’s a beautiful night, the rink is open, we’ve got trolly rides, we’ve got all the activities,” said Fargo park district executive director Susan Faus.
Skates are available to rent for the rink downtown from 4-8 pm on Weekdays and Noon-8 on Weekends.
