Looking for mittens: Local libraries hold collection drives

Mittens

FARGO & WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Fargo and West Fargo Public Libraries are collecting mittens to help people keep warm this winter.

The West Fargo Public Library is hosting its 17th annual Mitten Tree Drive to collect winter gear for West Fargo kids in need.

It goes through January 11.

You can drop off new or like-new child-sized mittens, gloves, sweatpants, boots, underwear, coats, and other winter gear at both West Fargo Public Library locations.

Fargo Public Libraries will also have donation trees at all three of its locations.

The donated items will be provided to members of the community in need this winter.

Handmade mittens and gloves are also welcome.
