East Grand Forks Police warn of check fraud cases

EAST GRAND FORKS, Minn. (KVRR) — The East Grand Forks Police Department is warning the public of a recent string of check fraud cases.

People have reported that after they mailed check payments for their Discover credit card account, the checks were found altered.

Police recommend card holders use a different payment method and review their past payments for any fraud.
