UND Department Chair is part of aiding NASA mission to the moon

FLORIDA (KVRR) — NASA is moving fast to blast off to the moon with help from the chair of the UND Space Studies program.
Dr. Pablo De Leon is once again down at Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
The mission is one of NASA’s first returns to the moon since December 1972.
But the crew will not land on the moon, but fly past it.
NASA’s Artemis II crew is set for critical fuel testing on Saturday with a launch window of February 6.
Artemis II also serves as a bridge to Artemis III and NASA’s plans to land astronauts near the Moon’s south pole in 2028.
