FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – For many, Saturday was all about love, passion, and celebrating togetherness with your committed romantic partner.

Brewhalla made sure they offered an alternative for those not too keen on those concepts.

The Drekker taproom played host to “Love Stinks”, a tattooing and craft event also celebrating the emo genre of music.

Amarok Tattoo was in-house doing flash pieces all day long, while crafters were encouraged to make creations that were maybe not so lovey-dovey.

Brewhalla says this non-romantic event fits with their general attitude.

“Drekker tends to lean anti-establishment. So having an emo day on Valentine’s Day just seemed very fitting for us,” said Alex Deane.

Still, don’t think the Drekker folks are against love by any stretch.

Sunday, they will host Pomp, a showcase of sorts for people who are considering Brewhalla as their wedding venue.
