Fire destroys large feed mill in central Minnesota

HOLDINGFORD, Minn. (KVRR-KFGO) – A large fire destroyed the Holdingford Feed Mill Sunday night.

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office says multiple callers reported flames and explosions. Deputies found the building heavily involved with fire spreading throughout the feed mill.

The Holdingford Fire Dept. called in assistance from several neighboring departments. The building is a total loss. Nearby grain bins were not damaged. No one was inside the mill when the fire started and the cause remains under investigation by the State Fire Marshal’s Office.

Holdingford is northwest of St. Cloud.
