FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – The weather is just beginning to improve to the point where folks can regularly leave their home for activities – and they jumped on the chance this weekend to check out the area’s biggest craft showcase.

The 16th annual Unglued Craft Fest marketed itself as a cure to cabin fever.

Over 80 artisans set up shop in West Acres Mall, displaying their wares on Friday, March 6 and Saturday, March 7.

This year featured a heavy emphasis on attendee participation – with the old Forever 21 space set up for nonstop, hands-on crafting classes.

Organizers said the energy and enthusiasm were palpable.

“It’s so encouraging to see that so much creativity lives and thrives in this area,” said Ashley Morken. “We constantly have new and emerging makers, and people taking their business even further. I think it just shows that creativity exists with people, and our community wants it – they’re hungry for it.”

Crafters of age were also welcome to stop in the Local Libations Lounge, with beverages from Drekker and Bear Creek Winery.
