Chief Dave Zibolski leaving Fargo Police Department

FARGO (KVRR-KFGO) – Multiple sources say Fargo Police Chief Dave Zibolski will leave the department by the end of the month.

An official announcement is expected Wednesday.

Sources say police department officers were notified of the decision by Zibolski late Tuesday afternoon. Mayor Tim Mahoney is expected to announce Zibolski’s resignation Wednesday.

Zibolski came to Fargo to become chief of police in October of 2020 when he succeeded Chief Dave Todd.
