Two Mexican nationals arrested in Stanley, ND indicted on child porn charges

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Two Mexican nationals have been indicted by a federal grand jury in Fargo for the attempted production, receipt, transportation, and possession of child sexual abuse material.

26-year-old Lidio Santiz Julian and 21-year-old Hugo Lopez Diaz are charged with multiple child exploitation offenses.

Their arrests came following a months-long investigation conducted by Department of Homeland Security–Homeland Security Investigations and North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation.

On February 6, Santiz Julian was arrested during a search warrant in Stanley, North Dakota.

Multiple electronic devices were seized.

Forensic analysis of the devices revealed that another person living at the residence, Lopez Diaz, was also connected to the case and arrested by federal agents on February 10.

Lidio Santiz Julian is charged with Receipt and Possession of Child Pornography, and Hugo Lopez Diaz is charged with Attempted Production, Transportation, and Possession of Child Pornography.
