Bowl for Kids Sake – Big Brothers Big Sisters kick off largest annual fundraiser

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — It’s the start of the largest annual fundraiser for one local non-profit organization.

Bowl for Kids’ Sake has been running for the past 34 years for Big Brothers, Big Sisters of The Village Family Service Center.

Companies from across the nation sponsor a bowling team or bowl themselves.

This year, about 60 companies are sponsoring a team.

Funds raised during the event will help support mentors helping children in the Fargo-Moorhead area.

“I just want to thank the community for coming out and supporting Big Brothers, Big Sisters. We’ve been in the community for sixty years this year, and we can’t do it without the community, so thank you,” said Susan Smith, Program Director for Big Brothers Big Sisters

The event continues until Thursday.
