Fargo woman indicted for allegedly stealing over $1 million from property management business

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A Fargo woman is accused of stealing over $1 million from ASA Property Management over six years.
59-year-old Cherie Sager has been indicted by a federal grand jury.
Sager is charged with three counts of bank fraud and one count of access device fraud.
Court records show Sager worked for the company since its inception in 2010 and was responsible for accounting.
Between March 2018 and October 2024, Sager made around 600 unauthorized check and ATM withdrawals worth over $1 million.
She was fired in December 2024.
