FARGO (KVRR) — NDSU gave students the chance to show off their entrepreneurial skills with an event called the Possibility Showcase.

The event gives young professionals a chance to present student-founded startup ventures to the public.

The students are divided into eleven teams, five of which will get to pitch their venture live.

The Possibility Showcase has hands on exhibits that let attendees view working prototypes and talk with student founders.

We met with one team showcasing a smart hydroponics setup.

“We learned a lot through this process, and we now know where to start if we want to go towards an entrepreneurship,” said Student Entrepreneur Niharika Vullaganti.

“We definitely made a lot of connections,” said her teammate Noah Luthi. “Earlier this evening, we had a pitch in front of a panel of judges and one of the judges was really nice. He gave us his business card from, like, a friend of his who is interested in hydroponics.”

The event celebrates the work of students participating in the Possibility Fellowship, a yearlong program where they transform bold ideas into real ventures.
