FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Tomorrow night will be the final night of the season for Fargo’s Winter Warming Operation.

The overnight service at Downtown Engagement Center will close for the season the following morning at 8 a.m.

The operation served a total of 638 unique individuals, with an average of 62 people served each night.

Fargo Cass Public Health has been working with guests to identify alternative housing or shelter options.

They say shelters across the metro were at or over capacity for much of the winter season, but crowding was eased with the opening of the New Life Center’s Operation Hope overflow shelter.
