Sheldon, ND man killed in pickup rollover Sunday night in Richland County

RICHLAND CO, N.D. (KVRR) — A 29-year-old man from Sheldon is dead after crashing his pickup last night on County Road 3 near Barney, North Dakota in Richland County.

Highway Patrol Capt. Bryan Niewind says the sheriff’s office received a report of the crash around 9:30 p.m. and requested assistance from troopers.

The pickup left the road, vaulted over an approach, and rolled.

The driver was partially ejected from the vehicle and suffered fatal injuries.

He was wearing a seatbelt.

His name has not been released.

The crash remains under investigation.
