Paisley Park hosts gathering on 10th anniversary of Prince’s death

CHANHASSEN, Minn. (KVRR/FOX9/CNN) — Today marks 10 years since the death of Minnesota music legend Prince, and fans are once again gathering to remember his life and legacy.
Paisley Park is hosting a full day and night of memorial events under the theme “A Day 2 Reflect. A Night 2 Remember.”
Prince Rogers Nelson was found dead on April 21, 2016, at his Paisley Park estate in Chanhassen.
He died from an accidental fentanyl overdose at just 57 years old.
“To be really honest, quite frankly speaking, I’d really like to see the people that actually really gave those spills to Prince. Serve some type of time. I know that I’m not trying to say everything’s one person’s fault. I think there was a multitude of people that were, that were a part of this. But, um, uh, I, I, it, it’s sickening to me,” said Prince’s cousin, Charles ‘Chazz’ Smith.
A new song from Prince’s vault has been released to mark the occasion.
“With This Tear” was written by Prince and later recorded by CĂ©line Dion in 1992.
