Snap Dragon Asian Buffet announces plans to close

MOORHEAD (KVRR) — Snap Dragon Asian Buffet is announcing they will be closing it’s doors after serving the community for over 20 years.

Snap Dragon broke the news to its customers on social media late Monday night.

The owners made the decision to close in order to spend more time with their kids.

They own the property, and may lease or sell it if the right opportunity comes around.

All in all they will miss the community that has grown around Snap Dragon.

“The biggest thing is during covid, we had so much support,” said Snap Dragon owner David Shih. “It was just unbelievable support. And with this community we’re going to miss everyone. I am definitely going to miss everyone.”

The restaurant, known for its Asian buffet, is asking customers old and new to come visit one more time before they close on May 18.
