Crews respond to separate crashes within minutes of each other in south Fargo

FARGO (KVRR-KFGO) – Two traffic crashes within blocks of each other in Fargo Wednesday morning prompted a large emergency response.
The first crash happened around 8 a.m. at University Drive and 64th Avenue S. There, officers say 66-year-old Karna Gurung of Fargo failed to yield the right-of-way and their vehicle struck another.
Gurung was cited. The driver of the vehicle that was hit suffered non-life-threatening injuries, but refused medical care.
About 10 minutes later at University Drive and 52nd Avenue S., police say a vehicle veered off the road and struck a tree.
The driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital.
