Hornbacher’s presents check to Big Brothers Big Sisters as part of 75th anniversary celebration

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Hornbacher’s is celebrating its 75th anniversary by giving back even more to the community.
On Tuesday, they presented a check for nearly $40,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters through the annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake campaign.
The event also featured a ribbon cutting, live entertainment and product sampling.
The company was founded in 1951 by Ted Hornbacher and Jim Custer as a single Moorhead Supervalu store.
Over the years it has grown to eight locations in the FM Metro and was purchased by Coborn’s in 2019.
Hornbacher’s plans to celebrate its 75th with special offers over the next five weeks.
