Book Sale for Scholarships

Bring your bucks to buy books at the AAUW book sale.

The American Association of University Women is having a book sale to raise money for women empowerment and education.

They are no longer accepting donated books but you can still show your support by stopping by and shopping.

Hardback covers start at two dollars.

Paperback at dollar.

And everything else is less than that.

“We are earning money for scholarships for young women in higher education. That’s what this is for,” says President of AAUW Fargo-Moorhead Susan Helgeland.

All the proceeds will go to local and national scholarships for women.

They hope to raise enough funds for three to four scholarships from this weekend book sale.

The AAUW book sale will go on until this Sunday at the Moorhead Center Mall.

Cash or check will be  accepted.
