Oak Grove’s North Campus is a Thrifty Shopper’s Dream

If you name it, Oak Grove Lutheran High School probably has it at this year’s rummage sale.

The school’s gymnasium is filled with everything from baby carriages to model airplanes.

Students have been collecting items throughout the year, helping to finance their trips out of the country.

Each item sold earns student credit.

Some students have been able to pay for their entire trip just through the rummage sale alone.

“It provides them an opportunity to raise some money, to offset those costs for their families because they want to do all of these neat things but it all costs money,” says co-chair, Tracey Aaker.

Last year’s rummage sale brought in $20,000.

This year they hope to pass $30,000.

The sale will go from 7:30 am to 8 pm tonight and tomorrow on Oak Grove’s North Campus.

Special prices will be available Saturday morning.
