Hope Man Dies After Crashing into Unoccupied Dozer
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the dozer was sitting unoccupied in a field.

STEELE COUNTY, N.D. – A 42-year-old man from Hope, North Dakota has died after crashing his vehicle into an unoccupied dozer.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol did not provide a specific time for when the incident actually occurred, only saying it happened during the evening of May 15. They say that the man, driving a Chevrolet Silverado, was traveling from Page to Hope. He failed to negotiate the curve at the intersection of 12th Street and 126th Avenue Southeast, leaving the road and striking the Komatsu dozer, which was located in a field.
The crash was discovered just before 9:30 A.M. on May 16. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.
The crash remains under investigation.
