Red River Market Starts Spring Season in West Fargo
The market benefited from warm temperatures and reasonable winds, pulling in a huge number of West Fargoans as a result.

WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – Outdoor market season is finally upon us, and the Red River Market wasted no time in taking advantage of Saturday’s great weather.
They set up their third-ever installment of the Market in West Fargo, filling Sheyenne Street with over thirty vendors.
There was also live music and plenty of room for kids and families to dance in POW-MIA Plaza.
Folkways staff said they were excited to be outside – and that West Fargo shows up in greater numbers for the market each year it takes place.
“We’re really enthused by the growth that downtown West Fargo has had, and specifically this part on Sheyenne Street,” said Dexter Wild, Development Manager for Folkways. “It’s really great seeing so many local neighbors show up for an event like this.”
Outside of their usual summer markets in Broadway Square, Folkways says to be on the lookout for an extra-special event in the coming months where they will hire an artist to paint a mural on the side of the VFW building.
