Creative Care for Reaching Independence had their eighth annual talent show in Moorhead.

CCRI  is a non–profit organization that enriches the life of those with disabilities.

They put on a talent show to let contestants showcase well their talents.

The talent show contestants were so fearless.

They could tell they lived for moments like this.

They didn’t even have stage fright.

Each act was different.

It could be a magic show, a song or spinning a basketball for a long time.

You never knew what act was going to follow.

“I love performing because it’s been a passion of mine. I love music,” says Nicole Atherton.

Nicole is singing “Goodnight my Someone” from the musical the “Music Man.”

She has been in several of the past shows.

“Just for them to stand up in front of the crowd and show the courage and the strength they have to be able to get up…as you see in a full room and be able to show everyone exactly what they can do,” says CCRI’s Executive Director Shannon Bock.

When the talent show first started eight years ago, there were ten acts.

Now it’s so popular that they have to limit it at 25.

There are no given awards handed out at this event.

But everyone is a winner so long as they’re having fun.
