Moorhead Officials Hope to Jumpstart Developments

Moorhead officials hope selling off a piece of city-owned land will help jump start development in the city.

The city sold five acres of land on 1st Avenue North to local developer Mark Buchholz.

The developer plans to build two 42 unit apartment buildings and a third apartment building with retail space attached.

The city is applying for a state grant of $1.2 million to help clean up the chemically contaminated site.
