Remembering A Legend: MSUM Dedicates Studio To Late Anchor and Professor

Friends, family, students and colleagues of long–time anchor and professor, Marv Bossart filled into MSUM’s news studio.

The campus television studio was named in memory of Bossart who is remembered for his passion for storytelling and inspiring that passion in his students.

Bossart anchored for more than 40 years at WDAY–TV.

While balancing his family, and career, he was also a dedicated professor at MSUM teaching broadcast journalism.

“His legacy not only in the community as an anchor but also here at Minnesota State University Moorhead as a professor is incredible,” says Program Director for Campus News, Aaron Quanbeck.

Students can now walk by the studio and see Bossart’s picture and read about his lasting impact.
