Fargo Public Library Kicks Off Fall Jazz Concert Series
The Fargo Public Library will be anything but quiet all four Sunday’s in October.
The library kicked off its annual Fall Concert series, with live performances from local jazz artists in the area.
The library will host four different jazz musicians every Sunday in October.
This week’s opener featured “The Skipjacks.”
Organizers say it is a way for those in the community to embrace the musical talent right in our own backyard.
“Our librarians are plugged into the community, and you know whose playing where, and we have a great richness of jazz musicians in our community, and it’s lovely to feature them in family friendly free atmosphere,” says Beth Postema, Deputy Director at the Fargo Library.
The concerts start at 2pm every Sunday this month and are free and open to the public.
