Multiple Crews Respond To Hay Bale Fire Near Comstock

The fire broke out early this morning a half a mile west of 170th Avenue and 50th Street South.

As of 11:00 a.m. the fire was still burning. 

There were about 1,000 hay bales in that area before the fire began.

Firefighters from Dilworth, Sabin, Barnesville, Christine and Wolverton are working to put out the flames.

There is a corn field next to the hay bales so firefighters are doing whatever they can to stop the fire from spreading.
