Essentia Health Celebrates Cancer Survivors

Essentia Health’s  Cancer Center is celebrating those who can call themselves cancer survivors.

More than 450 cancer survivors attended the center’s 2nd annual Survivorship Celebration.

The event was held at the Fargo Air Museum to match this year’s theme “Taking Survivorship to New Heights.”

The event is a way to bring together and recognize cancer survivors and their families.
 
“This event is all about celebrating life, celebrating our community survivors here and also their families. In a setting like this it’s all about having fun. So we’re excited to have all of these people here today,” says Leah Deyo Cancer Center Program Manger.
 
The celebration featured live music, food, and aviation activities for the whole family.
