Fargo Detective Says Suspect’s Shoe a Close Match to Print Found on Victim’s Head
One of four men in the case of a deadly assault between Rick’s and Speck’s Bars in Fargo is back in court.
Scott Moen heard testimony from Fargo Detective Joshua Loos.
He was at the scene of the crime just after it happened.
He said Joey Gaarsland, who died from the brutal attack, had a shoe print on his head.
The pattern closely matched the shoe Moen was wearing.
He also said Moen hid in an alley nearby shortly after the fight and watched as first responders cleared the scene.
Moen is expected in court again next month.
