Turkey Smashes Through Windshield of Vehicle On Interstate 94 Near Barnesville

The driver only has minor cuts from flying glass

BARNESVILLE, MN — Police in Barnesville say a turkey might have been “looking for love in all the wrong places” during breeding season.

The bird crashed through the windshield of a vehicle on I-94 just before noon.

They say the driver only has minor cuts from flying glass and was in good spirits.

Barnesville Police writing on their Facebook page: “Not to peck the issue to death, but we really stress to drive slow and watch for animals. It can really ruffle your feathers to have this much damage done to your vehicle.”
