Hundreds of New Laws Take Effect in Minnesota and North Dakota
Over a hundred new laws have taken effect this weekend in Minnesota and North Dakota.
One new law allows restaurants in North Dakota to serve alcohol on Sundays starting at 11:00am instead of noon.
It is now legal for concealed weapon license holders in North Dakota to possess firearms at liquor stores, public parks, music concerts, and public rest areas.
Another law that has taken effect includes the Minnesota minimum wage rate which has increased from 7.25 to an hour to 9 dollars an hour.
