Around a hundred golfers hit the links in Moorhead for a cause.
The Fargo-Moorhead chapter of the Spinal Cord Society held its 20th annual benefit at the Meadows golf course.
The event highlights the need and desire to find a cure, not care, for paralysis.
SCS is an organization for those with spinal injuries and their friends and families.
Brad Nordhougen is the chapter head and has been in a wheelchair since 1982.
“It raises money for the medical research where we’re getting to the point now where there’s a lot human trials going on and we want to use this money to hopefully expand some of them,” says SCS Moorhead Chapter Head.
All of the money raised will go towards medical research projects to find a cure for paralysis.
