Fargo Parks and Xcel Energy have teamed up bringing arts and crafts out into the community.

The Park It program is funded by Xcel Energy, and travels weekly to different neighborhood parks providing free arts and crafts for kids.

Every Thursday from 1-4, Fargo Park Staff members will provide different craft projects that kids can take part in.

“The Fargo Parks likes to bring things obviously out into the neighborhoods, and this allows people that would have transportation issues. There are kids that are on bikes because that’s what they have for transportation in the summer. It’s an easy access in their neighborhood,” said Program Coordinator Sam Larson-Frobig.

Adult supervision is required, and the program runs until the second to last week of August.
