It’s Not the Wurst in Fargo

They’re strapping on lederhosen and cooking up the schnitzel at Rheault (ROW) Farm.

Celebrating their culture and heritage, the German Folk Festival in Fargo offers live polka music, German foods, and several presentations.

Beer tastings, blacksmith lessons, and wood carvings lined the farm.

The Fargo Park district hopes this allows people to experience Germany without leaving Fargo.

Fargo Park District’s Tricia Wehrle said,”As we continue to grow, a lot of new people are joining the community here, so it’s just kind of bringing awareness to all the different cultures that are in the area.”

The park district says they hope to put on more cultural events later this year.
