It is day four of the Christopher Hampton Trial.
The Fargo man is accused of murdering his cousin.
Prosecutors this morning called police dispatchers and more investigators to the stand.
Hampton’s second 9-1-1 call to police after he shot his cousin was played for the jury.
“We were fighting and he held the gun in his hand, and ended up dropping the gun down. I grabbed the gun he tried came try to grab it back from me and I shot him,” said Hampton in 9-1-1 call.
Prosecution called Fargo Police investigator Ryan Nelson to the stand.
Nelson explained contrary to Hampton’s 911 call, the crime scene showed no physical evidence of a struggle.
“There’s that point where it comes to common sense where like something went on here. Whether it’s that broken chair table flipped over, foods on the ground, whatever it maybe something like that,” said Police investigator Ryan Nelson.
The prosecution has already called more than a dozen witnesses to the stand. The trial will continue tomorrow.
