Senior Residents Celebrate with Laughter

Seniors at Touchmark had the chance to show off their inner child and celebrate the joy of laughter.

The “Celebrate Your Funny Bone” themed party is planned and put on by 93-year old resident Adele Swenson.

Seniors play dress up, enjoy taco bags, and treats all catered by Swenson.

She says it is her way of reminding her friends the importance of laughter.

“The reason we are having the party is because the only thing that we can do as well as we did at age 50 is laugh, and so we’re celebrating our funny bone,” said Adele Swenson.

It is the third time she has thrown the party at the senior center.
