One Car Accident Near Davenport Pushes Car onto Bridge Ledge

An accident this afternoon near Davenport sends one car to nearly go over a bridge.

The accident happened just before 4 pm on County Road 16.

The driver was heading east, swerved and hit the side of the barrier on the bridge.

The car then spun and went up on top of the barrier.

The driver had to be rescued from the vehicle and was taken to the hospital.

Her condition is not known at this time.

Cass County Sheriff’s Department, Kindred Rescue and other agencies are on the scene.
