Library Hosts Lego Design Competition
Creations out of the timeless toy at home
Kids put their LEGO creations to the test.
The LEGO Mania Design Contest encourages children to build original creations out of the timeless toy at home then bring it to the downtown library for judgment.
Members of the NDSU Department of Architecture and Landscape Architecture facility were on hand the judge the designs.
NDSU Associate Professor of Architecture David Crutchfield says, “I’m probably biased a little bit towards our architectural entries but I’m all about craft as well. I like to see a well made project and something that’s imaginative too. Something that is interesting and individual and something fun too.”
Prizes were awarded to the winners and the mania didn’t stop there.
The event continued with LEGO-themed activities and games.
