Closing Arguments Monday in Fitch Murder Trial

A jury is set to hear closing arguments early next week in the trial a man accused of killing a Minnesota police officer.

Brian Fitch is charged with first-degree murder in the July shooting of officer Scott Patrick.

Prosecutors allege Fitch fatally shot Patrick after he pulled the suspect’s vehicle over in West St. Paul.

The defense rested its case Thursday after Fitch announced he was waiving his right to testify at trial.
