Small Fire Put Out at Hawley Elevator

A small fire breaks out at Hawley Cooperative Elevator.

Smoke could be seen coming from the back of the elevator around 2:30 Thursday afternoon.

Firefighters from several communities were called out to help.

Crews were able to put out the small fire in one of the legs of the elevator just after 3 o’clock.

The damage is considered minor
